My story
“It is no surprise that my fashionista mother’s creativity bug bit me at a very young age as I grew up watching her become the unofficial fashion designer and stylist for the women surrounding her. By the age of four, I had customized garments for each of my dolls, designed by me and crafted to life by mother’s tailors. Born and raised in Mumbai, I had aspired to become a doctor, but I took a complete U-turn to the amazement of many (except my mother because somehow moms always know) when I discovered my true passion for fashion. The ample ways in which a needle, thread and fabric can blend with human emotions to create a new identity always captivated me and thus I opened the door to the world of fashion. I made it the choice for my professional career because for me, to create is to survive! The entire process from understanding YOUR need to making that need come alive has been my driving force all these years and I experience the deepest satisfaction when YOU walk away with renewed confidence. ☺
